10 Songs for a Blah Wednesday

Good afternoon!

Ryan and I constantly joke that he’s a human iPod. He ALWAYS has a song stuck in his head. And, usually it’s going to be a Disney related song. Or, here lately, it’s been Super Simple Songs that we play for Lincoln. (We have our ABC’s down and we know how to count to 20 if you’re curious.)

Today has been a really blah day and I didn’t plan to type up a blog, but music is something that always seems to cheer me up so since it’s Wednesday (Hump Day!) it just seemed fitting to share some of my favorite songs with y’all.

I’m very random when it comes to music I like so this is your fair warning that the songs listed below are as random as I am. I tried to incorporate some fun loves songs since, you know, wedding planner… But I didn’t do too great of a job at that. Feel free to share with me some of your favorite songs, too! I am always looking to expand my playlists.

P.S. It was REALLY difficult for me not to post more than 10 songs.

The Keeper of the Stars by Tracy Byrd

Here’s your first love song. This was Ryan and I’s First Dance song. Cue all the happy tears.

Cinema by Skrillex

This was one of my go-to jams while studying in college.

Pieces of Me by Ashlee Simpson

Cue the car concert!

Poison & Wine by The Civil Wars

Just do yourself a favor and listen to this song if you’ve never heard it before.

Razorback Anthem by Drew Glover

Duh… Woo Pig Sooie!

Save Me, San Francisco by Train

Perfect for the blues on this Wednesday.

Check Yes Juliet by We The Kings

Was this anyone else’s jam in high school? Please don’t judge 9th grade Kaitie.

Speakers by Sam Hunt

“You and me, wild and free.”

Nothin’ But A Good Time

My momma raised me on Poison.

(You Want To) Make a Memory by Jon Bon Jovi

No Wednesday Hump Day playlist would be complete without Bon Jovi. Then again, no playlist would be complete without him.

Hope you’ve gotten a laugh or a at least one good jam session from this blog. Now, share with me all your favorite songs. Go!
